In the countryside surrounding Granarolo dell'Emilia, over the 18th century numerous villas sprung up, some are of notable architectural interest.
A particular example is Villa Amelia in Fibbia, which is situated in a lovely position along a secondary road to Lovoleto hamlet.
The Villa has rooms decorated in tempera from the 17th century and is noted for its “conserva” (pantry).
