The Palazzo Minelli is situated in Sala Bolognese, in the hamlet of Bagno di Piano (6 km far from Sala Bolognese).
In the Palazzo it is worth noting the tower, the courtyard and the small 18th-century chapel. The manor house is developed according to the classical canons of the sixteenth century villa.
Palazzo Minelli is an holiday farm now that offers visitors a wide range of services: stay, agricultural activities and cultural, recreational ones.
The palace consists of a complex of buildings realized from the 15th to the 18th century. They are connected to each others: the tower is the oldest building, the large courtyard has two accesses (east and west side).
The main bulding is developed according to the classical canons of the 16th century villa and it is the owner's residence for the farm. It has a quadrangular base with a passing loggia (main hall).
In 1611 the palace was left a legacy to the Convent of the nuns of Santa Maria Assunta (or Santa Maria degli Angeli) by Andrea and Paolo Bonfigli.
Confiscated by Napoleon as a good of the Church, it was sold and became the centre of the business of the farm.
