Silhouettes of young women diligently riding towards the paddy field. They are the two-dimensional figures made in copper in 2003 that represent rice-working women going to work by bike.
The work by Nicola Zamboni and Sara Bolzani stands out the hospital of Bentivoglio.
Nicola Zamboni realized many public statues in Bologna and in various municipalities of the province area, often utilizing copper. You can find Mondine al lavoro in San Pietro in Casale (2007), "Monumento agli artigiani" in the industrial neighborhood of Roveri in Bologna (2004), "Cavalieri in battaglia" and "San Giorgio e il drago" in San Giorgio di Piano (2006), "Guglielmo Marconi" in the traffic circle of Sasso Marconi (2008). In many works - as it happened for both those about the rice-workers (mondine) - Zamboni was supported by Sara Bolzani, artist known in 1997 at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Bologna.
