Where: Castel Maggiore (BO), Piazza Amendola
When: every Friday
The term "rana" in Italian means frog but also times of empty pockets. That's why this is the symbol of the Farmers' Market of Castel Maggiore, a place where the consumer can meet the producer and buy organic and quality food but at honest prices.
On the food stalls you can find seasonal fruits and vegetables arriving directly from the local land, but also pickled typical products, jams and marmalades. The market takes place on Friday in the afternoon: an extra opportunity after having finished work. The timetable varies depending on the season: from 3.30PM to 7PM during wintertime (November-March) and from 4PM to 7.30PM in the summertime (April-October).
