On the occasion of the catholic Thanksgiving day, San Matteo della Decima, a hamlet 10 km from San Giovanni in Persiceto, celebrates the typical autumn flavours with food, shows and cultural events.

The feast is organized as required by tradition at the end of the agricultural works, which culminate with the harvest.

The food stand serves seasonal dishes like pumpkin pancakes, roast chestnuts, sughi di Clinto (pudding made with local grape's must) and gnocchini fritti (deep fried dough).
