At the end of 19th century Quinto Sola opens here one of the first taverns of Sant'Agata Bolognese, with food and tobacco. Later he begins to prepare hot food and so the restaurant is flanked to the commercial activity. The place has always had and still has customers in passing, because it is located in the road that leads to Modena.
The restaurant is also accreditated as Bottega Storica (historical shop), that is to say the list of historical shops of Provincia di Bologna, qualification awarded to the activities in life for over 50 years, as a precious witness of the past and of the local traditions.
