Surrounded by the green countryside, just fifteen minutes away from Bologna, the restaurant was founded in  1985. It is an old farmhouse of the 19th century, cleverly restored and transformed into an  'escargottiere', that is to say a place where you can taste the escargot, originally prepared by  Loredana and Franco Martelli.

Today is run by Deborah Martelli along with her husband Alessandro Formaggi. Deborah is the sommelier and she has the task of choosing and combining the wines, Alessandro devoted himself to the the cooking, from the appetizers to desserts and ice-cream made expressly. The bread is baked freshly both at midday and in the evening.

The restaurant is reported by Gambero Rosso, Touring club and Michelin guides, that mentions particularly the escargots, frog legs puff and the fois gras bowl with red onions jam and brioche bread.
