Paolo, Pierluigi e Barbara welcome their guests in the 1500's vaulted dining room, recently renewed, or in the outdoor dehor that fronts onto a square dating back to the Renaissance.
Before running the restaurant, the managers had 20 years of experience in the restaurant industry and in viticulture, a period in which their passion for cooking grew constantly. The result is "la Corte dei Mulini", a restaurant that brings to the table an homage to the local flavours, carefully matched with homemade wines and enriched with suggestions from modern cuisine.
The apetizers include a selection of "taglieri", for examples the one with "culatello di Zibello" cold cut, cheese mousse and bread wafers. The first courses includes filled fresh pasta, such as tortellini in broth and ricotta tortelloni, as well as soups, "passatelli" and potatoes gnocchi.
The main courses include grilled meat, traditional selection of roast meat and dishes more focused on the season vegetables.
The restaurant is recommended by FuoriCasello, a food guide that includes some of the best restaurants located in the nearby of the Italian highway exits.
