An event that has become a must-attend for the ice cream lovers, since the town center of Casalecchio becomes for three days a widespread gelateria in the open-air. 

Just gluttony or complete food? Ice cream is above all a passion. High-quality artisan ice cream is the star of the 14th edition of this summer festival. The event is aimed at promoting this prestigious made in Italy specialty, known all over the world and well represented in the Bolognese territory by some high level companies, as evidenced by the Gelato Museum Carpigiani excellence. 

Visitors can taste a wide range of fresh ice cream flavours in one of the 7 "gelato point", featuring traditional and innovative flavours, ice lollies and sorbets. A delicious experience that both grown-ups and children enjoy so much.

The festival not only offers ice cream: it is also possible to eat snacks or meals in the food stands (serving sweet and salty specialties), or visit the farmer's and arts and crafts market. The festival also includes live music entertainment, merry-go-rounds for children and open shops.
