The structure summed up in one company the best practises of organic, biodynamic farming and of respect for the environment. Here they are bred local breeds, such as the "Mora romagnola" (ancient breed of pork) and the "Bianca valpadana" (breed of beef usually reared in the Po valley in the past).
The cattle graze outdoors and are fed with food produced and prepared in the farm: feedstuffs containing seeds of barley, corn, field beans, wheat, durum wheat, sunflower. Even for crop productions priority is given to sowing and planting old variety of plants at risk of extinction.
Recognized by the DegustiBO brand, the restaurant ensures that there are seasonal menus composed exclusively of specialties from Bologna, prepared mainly using local and regional products.
