Zola Predosa celebrates the 23rd edition of its traditional town festival, including food and wine stands, music and entertainment.
Handicraft stalls will provide demonstrations of traditional crafts and trades by artisans.
Aromas of local food and wines pervade the streets of the town centre, where people can taste local dishes like tigella (a variety of bread obtained by cooking the pastry on a heated stone), crescentina (a mixture of wheat flour, salt, lard and yeasts, then fried in boiling lard and filled with salami), borlengo (a thin, crunchy pastry obtained from a mixture of water, flour, egg and salt, then cooked, filled with a mixture of bacon, lard, garlic, rosemary and sprinkled with parmesan) and porchetta (roasted pork), accompanied by a glass of local wine.
