After 46 years, the Davis Cup by Rakuten, the world's top national team competition in men's tennis returns to Bologna.

From September 13 to 18, 2022, the Unipol Arena in Casalecchio di Reno will host one of the four rounds of the final phase featuring four teams: Argentina, Croatia, Italy and Sweden.

A major international sporting event whose return coincides with a historic anniversary: the 100th anniversary of the Italian national team's first participation in the competition. From June 19 to 21, 1922, in fact, Italy faced Great Britain on the grass of Roehampton.

The schedule of matches, which will start at 3 p.m., is as follows:

Sept. 13: Argentina-Sweden
Sept. 14: Italy-Croatia
Sept. 15: Croatia-Sweden
Sept. 16: Italy-Argentina
Sept. 17: Croatia-Argentina
Sept. 18: Italy-Sweden
