Where: town centre - 40014 Crevalcore (BO)

When: April 7, 2019

In the streets of crevalcore center takes place the biggest multiperiod historical re-enactment in Italy. A series of "flashbacks" from different historic periods, ranging from Etruscan period to the Second World War, will be displayed by 250 re-enactors from all over Italy.

The players are part of historical reenactment groups, each of whom will evoke a specific time period through teachings, battle patterns, music and historic dances. Every group will have a dedicated area, which will be located, depending on the weather, in the square or under the arcades.

Groups of re-enactors dressed and acting like people from ancient times will display their activities and researches through didactic benches, shows and entertainment open to public.

Many artisans and exhibitors will display a sort of evolution of artifacts, objects, fashion, weapons, ancient books, toys and jewels.

For lunch is possible to eat a menu including rice with sausage, pasta with tomato sauce, stewed sausage and ribs with beans, mixed cheeses with jams, gnocco fritto (fried dumpling) with cold cuts, dry cookies. The players will eat together with the public.

The event is also an occasion to enliven the streets of Crevalcore, strongly affected by the earthquake in 2012.
