The Palazzo Comunale (Town Hall) stands in the central square of San Giovanni in Persiceto, the Piazza del Popolo, just opposite the Collegiate Church.

 

This vast building, which was constructed in the late 15th century due to the dominion of the Bentivoglio family, has a highly particular 18th-century staircase by the architect Giuseppe Tubertini.
