The house of the artist Guido Frabboni is part of a complex where he lived and worked for many years. Natale Guido Frabboni (1926- 1994) donated his house, works (about two hundred) and his collections of majolicas and icons to the town.
Today it is a gallery space open to the public for exhibitions. The rooms used for temporary exhibitions are on the ground and first floors, while the second floor houses the collections of works by Frabboni and by another painter and sculptor from Casale, Raimondo Rimondi.
The Museum also hosts the archaelogic section "Pianura Romana. Villa Vicus Via" (The Roman Plain. Villa Vicus Via), dedicated to the many findings from the Roman Age, in particular from the Augustean period, rediscovered in the area. Focus of the exhibition is the Maccaretolo hamlet, with its extraordinary findings, but there are also traces from local rustic villas and agricultural settlements of the period.
