The Parish Church of the hamlet of Palata Pepoli from Crevalcore contained a collection of paintings from the Bolognese school from the 16th to 18th century. The church is dedicated to San Giovanni Battista.
The paintings kept here until the earthquake of May 2012 were by Francesco Gessi, Alessandro Tiarini, Giovan Battista Ramenghi, Ercole Graziani and Bartolomeo Passerotti.
