As with San Giovanni in Persiceto and Sant'Agata Bolognese, it was worth visiting the historical Communal Theatre of Crevalcore, inaugurated in 1881.
Projected by Giacomo Monari, a pupil of Ferdinando Galli Bibiena, the theatre history is originally linked to the activities of the group Accademia degli Indifferenti Risoluti (1648). In 1874 the realization of the new theatre decorated by Gaetano Lodi, skilled decorator from Crevalcore operating at the Savoy court.
The theatre boasts a richly varied theatrical season, including the playbill "TTTXTE. Tre Teatri per te" (Three theaters for you). This initiative, which is a result of a joint cooperation between the municipalities of Crevalcore, San Giovanni in Persiceto and Sant'Agata Bolognese, is aimed at bringing different theatrical genres as well as concerts to people.
The theatre also hosts meetings as well as musical events.
Visitors are offered fee-paying guided tours to the theatre by previous booking.
